In response to requests from several interest groups in Southland, Oxford Clinic Women’s Health in Christchurch has established a satellite clinic based at Southern Cross Hospital, Deveron Street, Invercargill.

Services Provided

Oxford Clinic Specialist Gynaecologists will visit, consult and provide outpatient surgical services on site such as colposcopy, LLETZ and hysteroscopy under local anaesthetic and, where necessary, will arrange minor/major surgical procedures in appropriate facilities to meet patient needs.

Referral Process

General Practitioner or other Health Practitioner Referrals

Your referring doctor or health practitioner can schedule an appointment on your behalf by sending us a referral letter. Upon receipt of this, if an appointment has not already been made, our reception staff will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment time.

Self Referral

We would prefer patients to be referred for treatment by their family doctor, but may accept self-referral in some circumstances.
