Dr Judith CollettGastroenterologistQualifications: MChB FRACP Consults at Intus Queenstown Clinic, Digestive and Colorectal Care Post Graduate Training/Experience:Dr Collett has been working as a gastroenterologist and general physician for over 15 years. She is Clinical Advisor to the NZ Familial Gastrointestinal Cancer Registry which deals with families who have strong risk of developing bowel and stomach cancers. She has also been involved in several projects and committees looking at bowel cancer screening strategies. Special clinical interests:Judith has a number of areas of special interest including inflammatory bowel disease, Coeliac disease and diseases of the liver. She is an experienced and competent endoscopist, proficient at gastroscopy, colonoscopy (including polypectomy) and small bowel capsule endoscopy and enteroscopy. She also performs pH studies and has expertise in oesophageal manometry. She has a broad general medical background as well as her gastroenterology specialty. Professional profile:Judith is available for consulting services for a wide range of digestive and liver disorders, as well as the investigation of symptoms related to the gut. She also provides some general medical consulting services in the Wakatipu area. Personal profile:Born and bred "Southerner" who is currently dividing her time between living in Arrowtown and Christchurch and is hoping to be living in Arrowtown full-time by 2011.
