Referral Process
General Practitioner or other Health Practitioner Referrals
Your referring doctor or health practitioner can schedule an appointment on your behalf by sending us a referral letter. Upon receipt of this, if an appointment has not already been made, our reception staff will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment time.
Self-Referral
Our clinicians would prefer patients to be referred for treatment by their family doctor, but they may accept self-referral in some circumstances.
What To Expect At Your Appointment
When you present to the Consulting Floor Reception you will be asked to complete a Patient Registration form and possibly a Health Questionnaire. As these forms can take 10 – 15 minutes to complete we would advise that you arrive a little earlier than your appointment time to allow for this.
Support Person
You are very welcome to bring along a support person at the time of your consultation.
Chaperone Service
Our nursing staff are very happy to be in attendance at the time of any examination.
