Endometriosis Treatment Centre

The Endometriosis Treatment Centre at Oxford Clinic Women’s Health was established almost ten years’ ago and was the first such facility to be accredited and endorsed by the New Zealand Endometriosis Foundation.

A multi-disciplinary approach to patient management is encouraged and has resulted in our centre receiving both International and National acclaim from patients and clinicians alike. The Centre offers gynaecologists with advanced endosurigcal training, experienced counselling and education advice, specialised nursing care, dietetic and physiotherapy services and, where indicated, access to expert colorectal and urological expertise.

The Centre has offered comprehensive care to thousands of patients and families, has participated in several research projects and has been training surgeons from other Centres over many years. Referring doctors and their patients can be confident that all needs will be met with professionalism and acclaimed expertise.

Why would I need to access this service?

Female patients with protracted pelvic pain, bowel or bladder symptoms or who have severely painful menstrual periods may suffer from endometriosis. Patients with infertility, with or without pelvic pain, and patients with confirmed endometriosis who seek further care may benefit from referral and consultation.

What is the process for referral to the Endometriosis Treatment Centre?

For a consultation you must make an appointment.
